Actually, I have thought about ordering a neck from Carvin to replace the pointy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it would run somewhere around $300,,,,,,, IF I remember correctly. Ebony Fingerboard, with Stainless Steel frets and Abalone block inlays,,,,,,,,,, BUT I don't think Carvin would do the blue stain and finish so I would be on my own to get that to match so that's the main reason I haven't done that...................... and the main reason I've decided to try to trade it off.

IMHO, the matching headstocks look a little over-the-top with that look-at-me attitude. There's beautiful, and then there's gaudy, just my two cents, but if I were you I'd swap out a neck like that for sure. Just my two cents!
