Has anyone out there purchased one of the new acoustics ? I`d realy like to here some honest feedback. My eye went to the C750 , or the C850. The catalog makes them out to be a real good sounding , well built, and affordable guitar. I`d really like to try a few of them out, but I live in northern Minnasota making it allmost impossible. I can`t see myself mail ordering an acoustic ( there just too personal ).

Monkey, I felt the same way when I ordered my DC200T. Never mail ordered a guitar before, and never bought one I hadn't played. But I was going to hold them to their "play it for xx days, and if you don't like it, return it for a full refund (less freight). That's not a bad deal, the freight won't set you back much, and I didn't need to use the return policy, the guitar was everything they said it was and more. Go for it! Wink

Wow! Really? That's some pretty good praise! I've never encountered a Cobalt in real life yet, but I am very familiar with Carvin's quality and tone. Cool

Wow... Very Happy

"Wow! Really? That's some pretty good praise!"

Yes sir, really. Now, don't get me wrong,, I'm NOT saying that my Cobalt 980 is better sounding than any and every Taylor I've ever played,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but it does sound great and to my ears is better than my Taylor 412ce and just as good as my 314ce. Then if you consider the price difference it's a no brainer in my mind,, the Carvin wins hands down.

I did have to adjust the Cobalt's truss rod when I first got it (used) but then it was ready to do battle with the Taylors...........

Wow. Impressive. Well, if I'm ever looking for another acoustic, that's where I'll be looking! It's a done deal. Cool
