Pictures are of Tim playing my guitars (Tim is the big guy first playing my padauk guitar and then my padauk guitar in its case) followed by Tim playing my prototype and a close-up of my truss rod cover "embellishment") followed by me playing his padauk (on my knee since he didn't have a strap on it).

Enjoy! Boggs

Go Boggsie! Nice a-lookin' axes, both of 'em! Did that acoustic on the bench belong to Willie Nelson? Looks like his signature on the face.

I can only really speak for mine as to its "plugged in" sound... The thing is PHENOMENAL!!! It'll do everything from Metheney-like smooth jazz tone to rockabilly to tele twang to strat to grunge... I am telling you that this box will do about ANYTHING! Switching system and tone selections are astounding and it has all of the playability of any fine Carvin neck. Action is perfect as is balance. Everybody who has played it so far has commented on the comfort due to the offset waistline. One tester liked my prototype better as the body is a bit thinner and it doesn't hardly weigh anything. My prototype has more of a jazzbox tone as would be expected. Tim's guitar, with its "floating braced top" resonates like an acoustic guitar and if he had "F-Holes" in it, so I suspect it would have sound more like an ES335 hollowbody. Boggs

It probably would, but it would also feedback at a lower volume. That's one reason I bought a Gibson Lucille, because she had no F-holes.

Tim and I'll be going out to the Denver area to jam with a bunch of folks including a couple of world-class players and taking our guitars out there to have them all play them too a week from Thursday... I am really looking forward to their reactions. Boggs
