Carvin just introduced two new models! The SH550 and SH575, and they look like a great ones. This is something a lot of us have been hoping for! A sweet looking semi-hollowbody! Cool

Check it out...

I just got the latest Carvin catalog in the mail yesterday, and that SH550 is lookin' mighty fine. Plus they are making an LP style axe called California Single that also looks awesome. Maybe it's time I quit buying from the same ol' same ol' Big 2, and take another look at Carvin's new offerings. Cool

Stay tuned,
Stan

Hi Stan,
Hey , I'm 100% with you on both the SH550 and the CS3/CS4 or CS6,,,,,,,,,,,, I'd love to have a SH550 AND a CS6,, both in trans BLUE quilt (flame would be good to though),,,,,,,,,,,, natural gloss on the back of the mahogany body,,,,,,,,, I'd like both in the standard Ebony fingerboards but with Abalone block inlays,,,, the pickups for the SH550 would have Carvins new covered humbuckers in chrome. the CS6 would have zebra humbuckers ,,,,,,,, the SH550 would have a tune-o-matic bridge with stop bar tail piece, while the CS6 would have a chrome Wilkinson tremolo.

IF I ever get one or both of these models I'm sure they will be used as I haven't ever bought a new Carvin and with retirement a month and a half away I doubt that I'll ever see either of them in my stable BUT I'm ok wiff-it. besides,, it's not like I haven't already given myself a few great retirement "gifts" already,, right Stan? Cool

Yeah baby! You've just described two beautiful guitars! Nice choices, but yes, you have rewarded yourself well already, and if those other two Carvins are in your future, then it's God's will!

Enjoy,
Stan
